Sitemagic CMS was founded by Jimmy Thomsen. The very first version was written back in 2006 as part of a computer scientist project at Tietgen Business College. The project was put on hold for a couple of years due to Jimmy's desire to finally put his education to work and earn some money. But in late 2008 the project was resumed. Most of the code was reviewed, rewritten, simplified and beautified, and finally launched in late 2009.
Sitemagic CMS immediately became popular with small companies due to its ease of use. Today it powers some of the most beautiful websites on the internet.
