Once upon a time in the center of Parma, in 1877, Pietro Barilla opened a bread and pasta store, with a small oven next door. His great talent was the foundation of what was to become our company’s mission: making good things to eat, things that bring joy to the table and make you feel good, leading Barilla to become the no. 1 pasta in Italy.
With the opening of the first restaurant in New York in 2013, Barilla has taken the next evolutionary step in establishing a gastronomic culture that celebrates Mediterranean lifestyle and Barilla’s love for pasta.
