With 2,620 stores in Japan and 587 stores overseas, DAISO has been able to purchase each item in the millions to ensure the lowest cost possible for the consumer, yet never compromising its standard of quality just like other Japanese products. With majority of their items sold at $1.50, DAISO will introduce a new value for a “dollar”. DAISO understands the growing need of cheaper products due to the rising living costs. It hopes to contribute to the advancement of the standard of living without having to pay more, but only for a very affordable cost.
